Nona Adventure Park

If you’re an outdoors enthusiast, Nona Adventure Park is a must-see attraction in Orlando, Florida. It features an inflatable Aqua Park, a cable park for water skiing and wakeboarding, and a one-of-a-kind climbing tower and ropes course.

After conquering the obstacles, refuel at Chroma, a stylish Lake Nona eatery featuring bright interiors and colorful accents. Sip on a Bottled Sunshine, a sunny yellow cocktail made with lemon, orange, tangerine, and blood orange liqueur. Learn more by clicking here.

Aqua Park

The Aqua Park, Cable Park, and Climbing Tower sit on a beautiful manmade lake. Colorful Adirondack chairs line the shore, and there is a large covered lakefront patio with a bistro and snack bar. The menu includes oven-baked pizzas, flatbreads, sandwiches, salads, dippin’ dots, and more.

The water activities are fun for the entire family, but there’s also an option to challenge yourself on the aerial ropes course or climb one of two 50-foot climbing walls. There are varying levels of difficulty to choose from, and there’s even a ground-level kids course for little ones.

Guests can buy a pass for one session or an all-day pass for any activity. The cable park and Aqua Park are open year-round. For rates and schedules, visit the Nona Adventure Park website. You can also purchase membership packages with perks for groups, families, and birthdays.

Climbing Tower

Whether you’re a thrill-seeker or simply antsy with heatstroke-inspired boredom, Nona Adventure Park offers something for everyone. This water-based family entertainment center features Central Florida’s first inflatable aqua park with obstacles and trails floating on Adventure Lake. It also boasts a cable park for wakeboarding, knee boarding, and water skiing, as well as a 60-foot climbing tower and ropes course.

If the water isn’t your thing, you can test your skills on the bungee-style cable track that can simultaneously accommodate up to 10 riders. The Climbing Tower stands at a lofty 60 feet, and has a variety of challenges like the wobble bridge, tilting boards, a caterpillar, and twin sky ropes that you can use to race a friend.

The best part is that you can make this an unforgettable birthday experience for someone special. Two different party packs are available, and both include two consecutive Aqua Sessions and a three-pizza meal at the Bistro. Visit another area in town here.

Nona Wake

Floating upon Adventure Lake, Nona Adventure Park combines an inflatable aqua obstacle course and water cable rides with a 60-foot climbing tower/ropes course/rock walls. This unique Orlando experience lets you enjoy the best of fun, fitness, and adventure with family and friends!

Kids bounce across the floating inflatables in the Aqua Park, while adventurous swimmers in search of speed grab a wakeboard and hit the wake park. A cable system runs across two tracks, pulling wakeboarders as they surf the lake. It’s the best way to get your adrenaline pumping without having to drive a boat!

If conquering the Aqua Park and Climbing Tower leaves you with a big appetite, head over to Splashes Bistro for lunch. This upscale eatery offers fresh and filling menu options like sandwiches, salads, and plates such as Grilled Chicken Cavatappi. You can also sip on a refreshing drink such as the Bottled Sunshine, a bright yellow cocktail that blends lemon, tangerine, blood orange liqueur, and vodka in a cute bottle!

The Orlando area has a variety of fun activities for families with kids. Cool off in Central Florida’s many splash pads and pools or visit Heroes Community Park, where you can play on the soccer fields or in the playground. Or, check out the newest attraction in Orlando, Black Hammock Adventures, where you can see free live gator and bird exhibits and enjoy live music.

If you’re hungry, head over to Boxi Park, which is built from repurposed shipping containers and has a variety of food options like Canonita Street Taqueria for tacos or SOTO for Japanese handrolls. There’s also a bar and outdoor seating, and if you have room for dessert, try Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream or one of the area’s many Twistee Treat locations.

If you love to wakeboard or water ski, consider getting a Nona Park membership. You’ll get unlimited cable park access for a year, as well as a number of bonus rewards. Visit the website for more information. Up next is Cypress Grove Park.
